More Belarusian Olympians Flee Marxist Lukashenko Tyranny

Belarusian athletes Yana Maksimava and Andrey Krauchanka, a married couple currently living in Germany, announced on Tuesday they will not return to their home country. “You can lose not just your freedom but your life,” Maksimava said of the Russia-backed tyranny in Belarus on her Instagram account.

International Olympic Committee Examining Raven Saunders ‘X’ Sign Protest

Silver medal-winning U.S. shot putter Raven Saunders reached skywards and crossed her arms in an “X” above her head Sunday in self-proclaimed support of all “oppressed peoples” as she posed for trackside photographers. Less than 24-hours later the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said it is looking into the display.
