Cassidy: For GOP to Win in 2022, We Need ‘Folks that Agree with Liz Cheney’

Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that if Republicans wanted to win in 2022 and 2024, they need Republicans that agree with Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) that former President Donald Trump did not win the 2020 election and was responsible for the deadly riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.


Some Republicans, Including Romney, Crafting Alternate Infrastructure Plan

Some Republicans, including Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), are working on their own alternative to President Biden’s $2 trillion American Jobs Plan, which will be less than half of the size and reportedly focus primarily on infrastructure, unlike the president’s proposal, which includes a slew of left-wing initiatives unrelated to traditional infrastructure projects.
