‘Mayor Pete’ Documentary Slammed by Reviewers as Supply Chain Crisis Worsens

Mayor Pete — Amazon Studios’ documentary about U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and his failed Democrat primary presidential campaign — is being slammed by reviewers while the supply chain crisis in the United States worsens. Buttigieg has been on paid paternity leave since mid-August, “to spend time with his husband” and their two newborn babies.

Sacha Baron Cohen: ‘Borat’ Sequel’s Pre-Election Release Was Timed to Highlight Trump’s ‘Slide Into Authoritarianism’

Sacha Baron Cohen said that he wanted to release his Borat sequel before the presidential election to highlight then-President Donald Trump’s “misogyny, corruption and dangerous slide into authoritarianism.” He said he also had political motive to star in The Trial of the Chicago 7, to show the “importance of standing up to racism, immorality, and police brutality.”

Amazon Studios Trailer for ‘Borat’ Sequel, Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Hits Trump and Pence

Amazon Studios has released the first trailer and mock promotions for the upcoming Borat sequel, in which British actor Sacha Baron Cohen reprises his role as the America-obsessed journalist from Kazakhstan. Given Cohen’s past statements about the Trump administration, it should come as no surprise that the sequel puts the president and his supporters at the center of its satirical focus.
